Danny Lodge is a 400sqm house extension that’s four times the size of the Victorian gate lodge it adjoins, in the South Downs National Park. The project was completed by London-based Matt Architecture and was featured on Grand Designs in September 2016.
On top of its beautiful architecture and agricultural setting, the house has ‘bucketloads of charm and personality’. There are various secret passageways, a playroom and a James Bond-style escape pod in the roof of the building, which features a large round window manufactured by Midland Alloy.
Note: Our windows are not designed to be used as skylights. The window was modified by the customer to ensure adequate draining.
